After the ARETE Camp 2008, I guess I have learnt many things. Out of the several sermons shared by various pastors, what really struck and impacted me is the part about forgoing worldly desires, resisting temptations and mature thinking.

I believe that everyone do yearn for worldly desires and hog onto unwated thoughts. Eventually, all these are temporal and usless. What really matters would be God. It is important to keep this in mind. God should be in the centre of our life. Another thing would be biblical thinking and actions. As for me, I guess I am too much into gaming liao XD so it acts like a stumbling block for me. I have learnt to forgo it and spend less time on it.

We must really resist temptations ba. Be it the pleasures of the flesh, greed and other irrelevant thoughts hovering in our mind. If you cant stand the temptation den... FLEE
As for mature thinking, I have learnt to set a goal in my life and working towards to it. If you fail to plan, you plan to fail! So God I realised the mistakes in the past and am willing to change. Den what about you den? :) (You=refering to others nt God hor :X)

Two weeks or so had passed an I am here to blog again...

It had been a busy week since the prelim one had arrived but it ended after two weeks. All the results had been announced and computated. Even though I may not have done well, I will strive harder and aim for the best in prelim two.

The Story Of Darrius

Darrius was an obdient and cheerful boy since young however things had changed for the worse as he grew older. He became rebellious towards his parents and led a life of self-denial.It was the harshness of reality that cause such a tremendous change in him. All he needed was communication with someone, a soulmate whom he could confide in. Darrius suppressed all his unhappy thoughts within him and he had to vent the anger in some form or another. His parents were director of a listed company and they were workaholics. They could hardly spend time with Darrius as they were buzy all the time.

Something was lacking in Darrius and he could not figure out what it was. Soon, his parents noticed the change in him and sensed something amiss. His perspective towards life had changed and he had a hostile attitude towards people around him. His performance in school was horrible. He became incompetent and inconsistent in his work. He skipped classes, hang out with bad company and stayed out late in the night. Darrius had been galavanting and he did all this just to escape from the clutches of reality...

Haiz, I am jus feeling so sad and down lar...
I was writing the journal abt marriage and relationships. I came across intresting articles jus wana write it on here. Do you know why relationships and marriages fail? Because in most relationships people expects what their partner to be, and not wad his/her partner is....So it's important that when you love a person, love him or her the way he or she is and not the way you want him or her to be then only you can be happy.
Relationships are not just coming together of two individuals. There is much more to it.To sustain a relationship it is important that there is effort from both sides than only a relationship can carry on.A successful relationship is like a good recipe whose main ingredients are love, commitment, understanding, concern and togetherness. If you can include these aspects you can find happiness in your relationship.
People get rejected cause of their looks, character and etc, but the problem is that why cant u jus accept wad ur partner is and carry on? Try to accept their unique self...
